1- When you were 17, tell us what kind of car you drove, where you worked, and what you were usually up to on the weekends

 

This is a little lame and quite embarassing, but I didn't have a license let alone a car when I was 17. So I wasn't driving anything!

 I worked at Jo To Go and I LOVED that job, I was so disappointed when I went in to get my check one day and found out that they were closing!

On the weekends I was usually home or hanging out with my boyfriend at the time

3- When you were 17, tell us what you wanted to be when you "grew up?"

 

I wanted to be a photographer!

 

 

 

4- When you were 17, tell us what kind of boys you dated? Did you have a type? Do you have a relationship you remember well? Tell us about it.

 

Well when I was 17 I had a boyfriend, and it was the 3rd time we were together, so I guess you could say I had a type! Haha and that is the relationship I remember well. But in the long run it really wasn't a good one.

 

 

 

5- When you were 17, tell us where you pictured your life 10 years from then? Did it turn out the way you expected it to?

 

Well it's only been 5 years since I was 17, so I'm halfway there. And I can honestly say NO! And I'm glad it didn't. Because I thought I would be married to the boyfriend I had at the time, and I'm so glad I'm not, because the man I did marry is 100x better!!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Our Love Story

I found this on a friends blog, and thought it would be fun!

How long have you and your significant other been together?

A little over 3 years

How did you meet? {What's your "love" story?}

My stepsister's fiance was going to a tuff truck race, and he asked if I wanted to go. I said yes (it sounded pretty fun and anything was better than spending all day at my Dad's house.) When we got there I just hung out and talked to my other stepsister while everyone was running around trying to get ready for the race. We eventually went up on the track, and as I was standing there, someone in a race truck noticed my shirt said Tooele on it, so he asked me if that was where I was from and I said yes (found out later that he just thought I was cute, so he thought he'd start small talk) Then later on that night he invited us up the mountain to have a fire and hang out, and the rest is history!

If married, how long have you been married?

3 years on June 13th

If you are married, where did you get married at? Big or small wedding?

We got married in a church in Tooele, it was a pretty small wedding.

Do you have any nick-names that you call one another?

No we really don't have special nicknames for each other

Name 3 things you love most about your honey.

His personality, everything that he has done for us, and his unconditional love for us!

Tell us how he proposed? Or your ideal proposal?

It was Christmas, and he wrapped the ring box in a bigger box with batteries, to make it heavy. Also he put other random boxes inside with nuts and bolts in them, so I wouldn't know which one the ring was in. I probably opened up 3 before I actually found the ring! Then he asked me and I said YES!!!

Is he a flowers and teddy bear kind of guy for v-day, or strawberries, champagne, and rose petals?

He is more of a fowers and teddy bear kind of guy, but that's fine, because that's what I preferr

Are you a sunset dinner on the beach kind of girl, or pop a movie in and relax on the couch?

I'd rather put a movie in and relax on the couch, but I do like to get out at go to dinner every now and then.

Tell us one thing you'd like to do with your significant one day. If you could do anything? Go anywhere?

I would love to go to Ireland on vacation...one day!

Tell us what you plan on doing on this Valentine's Day.

I would like to go to dinner, but we'll have to see because Jason might not feel up to it after he gets home. But I do plan on giving him a card and nice gift!

Are you asking for anything this Valentine's day?

Yeah, I really want a new crock pot. Yeah I know not all that romantic, but I am so tired of my tiny, has to cut up every roast I put in it just so it will fit, crock pot!

Day 15...Something I Don't Leave The House Without!

This would have to be either my purse, or Jasper's backpack. Just depends on how I'm feeling that day, but if it my purse that I take, I make sure there are diapers and wipes in there! Oh yeah and I always make sure to grab my wallet, because I keep important keys in there, like the key to the mail and stuff like that.

And that's about it, what do you have to make sure you have when you leave the house?

Day 11...Items in my makeup bag/purse!

Well to start off, I have a lot more items in my makeup bag then I actually use. My makeup bag is two sided, so in one side I have eyeshadows that have all broken up and whenever I open and reach in my fingers turn black, so I avoid that side of my bad as much as possible.

On the other side I have and eyelash curler, mascara, a couple makeup brushes, compact mirror, foundation and applicator pad, pencil sharpener, and a few things of eyeliner!

My eyelash curler asctually needs to be updated, considering that mine doesn't even work anymore. But I just haven't got to throwing it away yet lol

I swear by this mascara!!! I actually bought it one day because it was fairly cheap, and haven't gone back since. This is the mascara that has done the most for my eyelashes, by making them look fuller and longer!

To be honest I don't even use these brushes anymore, considering for Christmas I got a nice little thing with a lot of different types of brushes in it...which I LOVE!!!

Also one of those things I no longer use, because in that thing with the brushes I got a nice little mirror, so no longer have a need for this one!

I like this stuff, but I really want to try the natureluxe foundation as soon as this is gone...

As of now I am using an eyeliner that doesn't need to be sharpened, but I always get different kinds of eyeliner, so I like to keep this handy!

This is the eyeliner I am currently using, but I am seriously considering switching back to the one below...

I really do need to throw this away because it is pretty much gone, but I guess the reason I haven't is because there is still enough to use haha

And that's it...not much but it gets the job done! Plus I have a lot of makeup essentials that won't fit in my bag so yeah...and there you have it! :)

Day 10...My favorite place to eat!

I love, love, love eating at Sizzler, but lately I have been wanting Olive Garden so bad! So instead of choosing just 1, I'm going to have to say that both of them are my favorite...

Day 8...A song to fit my mood!

The song that probably fits my mood the best right now, would have to be Set Fire To The Rain by Adele. I absolutely love her and her songs almost impower me and I love to listen to them...so enjoy! :)

Day 3...My idea of perfect first date!

Ok so I've been married for 2+ years now, and am really out of the dating scene. But I think I would have to say that my idea of a perfect first date, would be something very low key and not too extravagant. I'm an outdoors girl, so I would like something like going for a drive up the mountain, or even a 4-wheeler ride.

I like the idea of being in an enviroment where you can talk without disctractions and get to know one another. It was really hard for my husband and I to have any "alone time" when we very first started dating, because my step sister and her fiance were almost always with us.

Mine and Jason's first date was really awkward, my favorite part was the truck ride there and back haha. It was the day after we had met, and he invited me to his nephew's birthday party (with his whole family, yeah talk about awkward) But I accepted, and it was so nice to be able to talk to him and get to know him a little better, as we were driving to the party.

When the party started his mom started asking who I was, and when I told her who I was and who my parent's were the first thing she said was "we're related!" I know right!? Let's just make the awkward moment even more awkward, but as she explained it, it turned out we were just related by one of her relatives marrying one of my Grandma's siblings, no blood lines involved...Thank goodness!!!

So anyway my idea of a perfect first date probably isn't all that impressive, but I'm someone who really enjoys one on one time, rather than being in a crowd of people.

Day 2...Favorite movie!

So today is all about your favorite movie. And of course I like a lot of different movies, but if I would have to pick just one as my favorite...I would have to go with 8 Seconds!

I have been watching this movie since I was little, and every time I watch it, it makes me cry. Also the story line is really good, and the fact that it's based on a true story, makes it all the better. I most definitely suggest that you watch it if you never have.

Also a little interesting fact, at the 2011 National Finals Rodeo they interviewed Luke Perry, and he said that 8 Seconds was his favorite movie that he ever did! :)

So I absolutely LOVE music, and I have A LOT of different favorite songs, but I would have to say that my ALL TIME favorite song is A Broken Wing by Martina McBride. I just love her voice, and the message in the song is really good too!
